“At our regional meeting in Atlanta in October 2010 you introduced our group to water filtration and water softeners and their possibilities to add to our businesses. “Dave, just a short note to thank you and Eric for taking the time to visit our shop a couple of weeks ago to get all our guys “up to speed” on selling water conditioning systems. Thanks to your training, all our people are now fully comfortable performing water tests and offering solutions the customers NEED to address the issues with their potable water.
We have done our part as a management team to hold the guys accountable for performing a water test on EVERY CALL. The CSR mentions it to the customer while the customer is booking the call. Then during the happy call we ask if the water test has been performed. If the tech did not do the test, we make him go back and do it. Needless to say this has only happened once or twice. Once the guys realized we were serious, they now do it EVERY time. Bottom line we have just sold our sixth system (three this week alone) generating almost $14,000 in revenue.
There is no doubt that if we hadn’t done the training we would not have sold these systems. So a big THANK YOU to ProSystems for the training. We will be sending two of our guys to Chicago at the end of the month for training and will continue to send two every month until all our guys are trained. We are hoping to do $25,000 in water treatment this month, and hope to close this year with at least $200,000 in water treatment sales. “The regional training that was held at my location was amazing. After taking several techs to Chicago I didn’t know what to expect holding the regional training.
