The economical way to treat water at a single location, or the whole house.

ProSeries UV Water Disinfecting System

The ProSeries UV Water Disinfecting System treats water requiring a 99% reduction of bacteria, virus and protozoan cysts.

Features

Prohibits water dangers

This chemical-free system is designed to destroy 99.99% of bacteria, virus and protozoan cysts including cryptosporidium and giardia lamblia.

Promotes environmental thinking

Disinfection with UV rays is a safe and natural process that adds no chemicals and does not affect the taste or odor of your water and costs merely pennies per day.

Profoundly easy to maintain

The lamp connector allows for quick and simple removal of the lamp without any special tools or assistance.

Protection first

A safety cap prevents children from accessing the lamp or electrical components and a special lamp plug ensures that no one can activate the power to the UV lamp if it is not installed.

How It Works

Ultraviolet (UV) light is at the invisible, violet end of the light spectrum. The water treatment industry uses a high-powered form of UV light called UV-C or “germicidal UV” to disinfect water.

UV-C rays penetrate microorganisms and destroy their ability to reproduce, effectively rendering them harmless.

It’s a simple but effective process, destroying a minimum of 99.99% of harmful microorganisms, including E. coli, cryptosporidium, and giardia.

Warranty

These systems carry a seven year limited warranty on manufacturing defects surrounding the stainless steel reactor chamber, a one year warranty on UV lamps and a one year limited warranty on all other components excluding filtration cartridges.

Limitations of Use

The incoming hardness level should be less than 3 grains per gallon (GPG) and free of iron & manganese. The UV Water Disinfecting Systems should be used in tandem with a 5 micron pre filter.
