The durable, dependable way to treat problem water.
ProSeries Chemical-Free Iron & Hydrogen Filtration System
Depending on your needs, the ProSeries Chemical-Free Iron & Hydrogen Filtration System may be used independently or in tandem with other ProSeries systems.
Features
Professional strength
The exterior tank is comprised of miles of glass filament for incredible durability. Inside is another tank made of sanitary plastic, ensuring that your drinking water never contacts the exterior fiberglass surface.
Proprietary controls
The computerized control of this system is directed and monitored by our hi-tech computerized head that can be programmed to meet your personal quality and usage requirements. Important data is also stored to allow for precise monitoring and maintenance.
Proactive thinking
Because the system goes to automatic bypass when regeneration is required, there is no down time, meaning you will never be without water.
Filter Media
Proficient filtration
KDF 85 — This high quality media is gold in color, with a weight of 171 pounds per cubic foot of mineral. It maintains a long material life with relatively low attrition loss and a wide temperature performance range.
Limitations of Use
This system is designed for water supplies containing lower levels of Hydrogen Sulfide and low to medium levels of Iron.
The system will not remove manganese.
The pH range is 7.0 — 8.5 with a maximum inlet temperature of 100F. The maximum turbidity is less than 20 nephelometric turbidity units (NTU). The dissolved oxygen required is .25 parts per million (PPM) for each PPM of iron or sulphur.
In some applications the dissolved oxygen content may be less than the required amount. Pre-oxidation via an air inductor or hydrogen peroxide injection may be necessary.
Maintenance Requirements
Parts
The valve on your ProSeries Chemical-Free Iron & Hydrogen Sulfide Filtration System is designed to last many years, but will occasionally require cleaning and lubrication of the moving parts.
Your water quality and the amount of regenerations will affect this schedule. Consult your service professional about scheduling and completing this service.
Media
The filter media will eventually become exhausted or consumed and will need replacement. This is normal. Replacement schedules depend on the incoming water quality and your water usage. Your service professional will help structure the best maintenance schedule for your needs.
