Designed to solve special water treatment problems.
ProSeries Acid Neutralization System
The ProSeries Acid Neutralizing System controls blue-green staining of copper pipes and is built for a long life of trouble-free operation.
Features
Progressive design
This low maintenance system is completely automatic and chemical-free, providing a convenient whole house solution.
Professional strength
The exterior tank is comprised of miles of glass filament for incredible durability. Inside is another tank made of sanitary plastic, ensuring that your drinking water never contacts the exterior fiberglass surface.
Proprietary controls
The computerized control of this system is directed and monitored by our hi-tech computerized head that can be programmed to meet your personal quality and usage requirements. Important data is also stored to allow for precise monitoring and maintenance.
Proactive thinking
Because the system goes to automatic bypass when regeneration is required, there is no down time, meaning you will never be without water.
Proficient flow rate
Large porting and internal piping allow the filter to provide generous water flow rates.
Choice of Filter Media
Neutralizer
This ground and graded, high alkaline granular material slowly dissolves in acid water. It’s also easy to pour into the tank when replenishment is necessary. (Ported tanks only.)
Neutralizer XL
A processed, bead-like magnesia that is faster acting than Neutralizer. This combination media should be used on water with very low pH.
Limitations of Use
The rate of flow from the well pump must be greater than 6 gallons per minute(GPM) and the recommended incoming hardness level for maximum bed life is less than 5 grains per gallon (GPG).
Failure to have the proper backwash rate will inhibit the filters ability to perform as designed. Frequent backwashing may be required depending on incoming water quality. Local water conditions will determine whether your service provider recommends Neutralizer or Neutralizer XL filtering media for your application.*
Maintenance Requirements
Parts
The valve on your system is designed to last many years, but will occasionally require cleaning and lubrication of the moving parts. Your water quality and the amount of regenerations will affect this schedule. Consult your service professional about scheduling and completing this service.
Media
The filter media will eventually become exhausted or consumed and will need replacement. This is normal. Replacement schedules depend on the incoming water quality and your water usage. Your service professional will help structure the best maintenance schedule for your needs.
Benefits will be provided by various types of ProSeries equipment when installed and operated according to manufacturer’s recommendations. Operational, maintenance and replacement requirements are essential for the product to perform as advertised. All claims based on best available information at time of printing. Manufacturer makes no representations as to the suitability of this equipment for a particular application.
